RF IMPERIAL CHOICE, a quarter-horse filly, won the Mardi Gras Oaks Trial at Louisiana Downs earlier this year along with 3 prior wins. and a 2nd in a trial for the Louisiana Bred Oaks at Delta Downs. Today she ran 2nd in the Treme Derby Stakes at Delta Downs.  Purchased at the LQHBA Yearling Sale for $10,500, RF IMPERIAL CHOICE was bred by the Rogers Farm of Tim and Jennie Rogers, and  is now trained and owned by Ismael Solis-Guevara.

 HOT CAJUN LOVE , trained by Kenneth Weeks, ducked in at the gap but hit the lead, and the chart describes him as "dominant".  He pwn by 1 1/2 lengths for pwner Janice M. Bell.

Just more than a month after becoming the first winner for freshman sire Imperial Hint, TDZ HINT OF POWER also became the multiple grade 1 winner's first stakes winner in the $75,000 Louisiana Cup Juvenile Stakes at Louisiana Downs. Since then he was stakes placed in the Louisiana Champions Day Juvenile Stakes. Today he got his 2025 campaign underway with a gate-to-wire victory in allowance company at Delta Downs. He is a homebred for Tony Doughtie and is trained by Nason Eschete.

The much anticipated first thoroughbred starter by first crop sire Imperial Hint was exciting to say the least as TDZ HINT OF POWER broke a little tardy but quickly recovered. Rushing up to take the lead, Tdz Hint Of Power continued to widen his lead until he crossed the finish line nearly five lengths clear of his nearest rival. Tdz Hint Of Power stopped the clock at 57.50 for the five furlongs (the track record is 56.90) run over a muddy track. Tdz Hint Of Power is the third winner for his dam, Tdz Mandycorrienda, who previously produced stakes winner Tdzshininluckystar (by Star Guitar) for owner/breeder Tony Doughtie.
