The much anticipated first thoroughbred starter by first crop sire Imperial Hint was exciting to say the least as TDZ HINT OF POWER broke a little tardy but quickly recovered. Rushing up to take the lead, Tdz Hint Of Power continued to widen his lead until he crossed the finish line nearly five lengths clear of his nearest rival. Tdz Hint Of Power stopped the clock at 57.50 for the five furlongs (the track record is 56.90) run over a muddy track. Tdz Hint Of Power is the third winner for his dam, Tdz Mandycorrienda, who previously produced stakes winner Tdzshininluckystar (by Star Guitar) for owner/breeder Tony Doughtie.

Imperial Hint's RF Imperial Choice Scores In The Mardi Gras Trial 03/10/2024
The Trials for the Mardi Gras Futurity for Quarter Horses were held today at Louisiana Downs and the first race featured the very first starter for Clear Creek Stud’s Imperial Hint. A multiple Grade I winning Thoroughbred who earned more the $2.2 million, Imperial Hint has been bred to both Thoroughbreds and Quarter Horses. Rf Imperial Choice broke sharply and won her heat by one and a half lengths. Rf Imperial Choice’s time of 15.662 seconds for the three hundred yards earned her a Speed Index of 90 and qualified her for the Mardi Futurity to be run on March 30th. Purchased at the LQHBA Yearling Sale for $10,500, Rf Imperial Choice was bred by the Rogers Farm of Tim and Jennie Rogers, is trained by Hector J. Sanchez for owner Armando Solis Castillo.
