While still a maiden, BETO had already placed in the D S Shine Young Futurity at Evangeline Downs and in the Louisiana Cup Juvenile S..He broke his maiden by over 5 lengths at Remington Park. Today he quickly gained the lead and sprinting at Delta Downs and won by over 2 lengths. The three-year-old gelding is now trained by Lee Thomas for new owner Keith Plaisance.

Towards the end of last year, ROCKIN SUNDAY MASS wired the field to win racing 6 1/2 furlongs at Delta. Today she romped by almost 6 lengths in allowance company again at Delta. She has earned over $94,000 in 6 starts for her owner/breeder Brittlyn Stable, Inc. and trainer Jose M. Camejo. Newly turned 4 year old filly STARMALINE trounced her field of maidens by 10 lengths last month. Slightly slow out of the gate this time, she dropped down to the fence, rated nicely and when let go, opened up on the field to win by over 6 lengths. She raced a mile and 70 at the Fair Grounds.
